Top affiliates, like most Internet marketers, are quite busy and don’t have much time to thoroughly consider your proposal for them to join your affiliate program and promote your product offers.
As a result, you need to stand out from other affiliate programs and be willing to go that “extra mile” in order to convince them that your affiliate program is worth joining and your product offers are worth promoting.
One way you can do that is to provide them with many promotional tools that can make their promoting efforts easier and less time-consuming.
You may offer a high commission percentage, but if you force your affiliates to have to create their own promotional ads, email messages, and autoresponder series from scratch, they’ll likely think that your higher commission percentage is not worth the mammoth effort it will take to promote your product.
Instead, making it easier to promote your product offers will likely go a long way toward convincing busy top affiliates that promoting your product offers is worth their time and effort. Editing a pre-made autoresponder series, email, or advertisement is much easier and quicker than creating one from the very beginning because that ad, email, or autoresponder series will have already been tested for its effectiveness in converting prospects into buyers.
By lessening the workload for your top affiliates, you’ll be more able to successfully recruit them into your affiliate program, and thereby, gain their knowledge, abilities, and contacts into selling more of your product offers.
