One way to train your customers to expect paid promotions without seeming too greedy, is to offer them alongside free products. That way, when a subscriber receives a newsletter they will know that within the pages they can expect to get a variety of solutions, and some will be paid and others free.
This serves two purposes. One, it provides your subscribers with bonuses that can be free solutions to their problems. Maybe it is not as complete a solution, but they can choose it if it fits their needs. Secondly, it offers you the opportunity to present paid products that may fulfill the customer’s needs more completely and trains your readers to expect some marketing in their newsletters.
Having only free promotions in your newsletters is not good for your business, while having only paid ones makes the probability that your customers will opt not to read your newsletter higher.
