How To Attract People Into Your Sales Funnel

The point of entry in any sales funnel is to bring the visitor into direct relationship with you, and begin to build their trust and confidence in your products. The direct relationship is determined by whether you have a point of contact, with your visitor, thus converting them from a visitor to a subscriber. This can be an email address or a sale. So, people either offer something for free in exchange for subscribing or they try to sell a low cost entry-level product right away to make a sale.

There are pros and cons to each strategy. You can attract more people who are “freebie seekers” than customers using the free product strategy. However, you can also generate a large mailing list from this strategy and convert them later. If you offer a low-cost product, you can get a mailing list too, but it will be harder to build since you have to overcome the buyer’s resistance first.
