Subscribers to your Mailing List back-end Strategies
For those who have been conducting online business for at least a few months, think back to when you got the first subscribers to your mailing list. Realize what you had to do to acquire them:
You had to let people know that your site was operational and that you were offering something for free.
You had to convince them that your list was worth signing up for, which is why you gave a free gift such as an ebook, report, or software program.
You had to set up your autoresponder to send out a series of messages to convince them to consider your products/services after they signed up.
In other words, it took some time and hard work in order to be able to set it up so that you could get your first subscribers. But, it was worth it, wasn’t it? You received your first sales from them, and they have stayed with you over the last few months or even last few years.
Yet, you sort of dread having to continuously find more new customers to sell your products/services to. While looking for new customers should be a part of your business strategy, it should NOT prevent you from utilizing back-end marketing in your business either.
It’s certainly easier to convince those you have done business with before to buy from you again. Amazingly though, many businesses seem to neglect and forget those who have signed up to their lists, not offering their new products/services to them. Yet, why build a list if you’re not going to utilize the benefits of that list?
